November 2012

Aniston would probably say that November was her favorite month so far this year. It snowed BIG!!

Aniston's Kindergarten class celebrated Thanksgiving with a feast, she was Tiny Feather

I think November was the fastest flying month of the year. I enjoyed most every minute, especially the minutes I was with my family! Gram, Shelbi, and I went to see Papa's work in progress and got the 411 from him on a 70s lamp...

Chris sat at the computer most of the month, working and doing homework. I think he's just glad the month is over. Thanksgiving was great! We hosted this year, and all went well. Stefen and Bri were the only ones missing. After dinner, we had a little competition to see who could jump up from the sitting position to their feet-Scott, Christian, Chris, Aniston, and I(I had the most attempts and made the biggest commotion) all competed and all succeeded! Then, I ventured out in the chaos for an electronic while everyone except Chris hit the hay. @ 4:30am, Gram, Shelbi, and I made a dent in our Christmas shopping, and we succeeded thanks to Starbucks and short lines. November '12...thank you for being wonderful!

Halloween '12

Aniston wanted to be Merida this Halloween. Grammy and I made the dress, Papa fashioned the bow and quiver, and with the help of foam rollers and red hair spray.....

Grammy and Papa came over to trick-or-treat with us! Aniston got to run from door to door with a few kids from the neighborhood and she was in heaven. We took a break to have some chili, and then the 3 of us went out for a second round!

A funny- I was all ready to spray Aniston's hair red and we had 25 minutes before school started. I grabbed the first can of "red hair spray", shook it, and pulled the trigger....red SILLY STRING came shooting out into Aniston's hair! Grammy to the rescue, she ran to 2 stores before she found 1 can. We made it to school right on time, Aniston's hair looked AWESOME, and Grammy and I laughed about the silly string all day long!

Aniston lost her second tooth thanks to some help from the tooth fairy. She tried and tried to get it out, but it wasn't coming out fast enough. The tooth fairy had that tooth out and the money under Aniston's pillow without her even knowing; AMAZING!!

We had fun watching Chris race, dressing up, and enjoying the nice weather! Even Grammy and Papa came over to see Chris race, and they were very entertained. Before the race, I had Chris dropped me off about 8 miles from the park. It was my longest run, and coldest too!
