I rocked Aniston to sleep tonight, or "rock you like a baby" as Aniston calls it, she says to me "mommy I so very love you so very much". She is really so very sweet. I so very love her so very much!

This was the first time I actually rocked her, it was the day we brought her home from the hospital. If I would have known then just how fast she would grow, I might have savored the moment a bit longer. Tonight though, I am well aware of how fast she grows and I held onto her for as long as I could. I kissed her little cheeks as many times as I could without waking her up, and I told her I loved her hopefully enough times that she will always remember that I love her forever and always. I'm one lucky mommy!!

SOO fun and SOO easy to make...

A friend of mine had this blog on her blog favorites and I LOVE the stuff that is on it, these shoes for little baby girls are just one of many things I hope to make from her blog. Check out this blog... it's full of fun things to make!

I made this pair really small for Aniston's baby doll just to see if I could do it. SOO easy, and they are so stinkin' cute!

Kind of wish this big girl was still small so I could make a bunch of pairs for her, but I guess I'll just have to make them for others. So, if you're having a girl, you just might get a pair for her cute little feet.

Sweetheart

These two are too cute!! Daddy took Aniston on their first daddy-daughter date, and they both loved it. How sweet is that?!
Chris humms and haas about buying "extras", but guess who insisted we get ANOTHER stuffed animal to add to the overwhelming collection? Chris, AND he plans on going back on Valentine's Day and purchasing another, larger stuffed frog because I'm guessing if you get someone an early Valentine's gift, you've also got to get one for them one the actual holiday too. He's so sweet, and yes she's got him wrapped around her finger(more than one time too).
This little princess is full of love. She gives hugs, kisses, and says I love you to us constantly. I got a smack in the face(literally) Sunday that made me stop and think about how much I really do love this little princess. Thanks to Disney, I have a sore nose, but had a moment to realize the unconditional love that I have for this little girl. We had just finished "grassament" and I was holding Aniston on my lap. She grabbed my face(we were on the second row front and center, might I add) and looked at me with a strange look that said "I'm not sure how to go about this but here goes nothing", and CRACK!! She slammed her forehead into my nose. She looks up at me as I try to compose myself and says "ouch". I could have thrown her onto the stand, but instead I just gave her a hug and tried not to cry. I gave the little miss a lecture about not hitting people, and then held her tight in my lap. I get the unconditional love thing now, because yes I was VERY upset at first, but she didn't do it intentionally. Even if she did, we all do dumb things, and we learn. I hope she knows head-butting people is not nice and it hurts, and I'll cross my fingers that it won't happen again. LOVE HER!!

funny...haha

All kids do it, I think, but I'm still mortified when mine does it in public. The "buggers" are in because it's that time of the year when we all have the sniffles, so I'm sounding like a broken record these days sayin' "don't pick your nose, or the snail will bite your finger". In the car Aniston was all tucked in her blanket, hands and all, and I hear her say, "my hands are stuck, now I can't pick my nose". Bummer dude.
Another funny..."grassament" (sacrament).

Are you freakin' kiddin me?

Aniston is catching on to the things we say, so Chris and I really have to watch it because she repeats a lot of the phrases like "don't talk to me like that" and "are you freakin' kiddin me?". When she's bossin' she sounds just like her mama and when she is worked up she sounds just like her daddy. On Christmas Aniston started sayin "are you freakin' kiddin' me?!" thanks to Chris, and we both have tried really hard not to laugh when she says it, and to teach her that she needs to say something else(we really just need to watch what we say...bottom line). So I'm telling Aniston that she is going to get a bed and that we will be putting her old bed(a mattress that we have just put on the floor) on top of her new bed. Her reply..."are you freakin' kiddin'me?!" Wow..that caught me off guard, so I just said nope I'm not. She loves the bed, hasn't fallen off yet, and thinks Papa made it. What a sweet girl she is!!! I will get a picture of her on it soon and put it up; she's all smiles when she is on it! Thanks Aunt Shelbi for the find.

funnies:

Here are some Aniston funnies that I need to get down somewhere so I don't forget:

If I'm drying my hair and Aniston is watching tv, she will come in the bathroom and tell me to be quiet and then she'll walk out and shut the door.

Aniston LOVES lip gloss, and if she doesn't have enough on her own lips, she get some from others. That's right, she takes it off my lips by giving me the biggest lip smackin' kiss there is! she'll ask for a kiss just to get some "lips"!

We went to the new Alvin and the Chipmunks movie and we took Aniston along with a bit of hesitation. She did pretty well, I only had to take her out once because she wasn't using her quiet voice. I was trying to tell her not to talk while the movie was playing, but she was "SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHUSHING" me and giving me a spit shower. It was all I could do not to laugh! The best was her dancing EVERY time there was music!!

If you ask Aniston what her favorite song is, it will most likely be "Paparazzi" or some other song that's on the radio. She can sing to most of the popular songs that are out now, and her latest favorite is "Yew York". My mom got Aniston some preschool CDs for Christmas that will hopefully stick in her head too!

I LOVE THIS... She still twirls her hair when she is tired. Next to her baby soft skin, that's the only sign that she's still a baby. She has grown fast, and is changing all the time. She talks ALL the time, the only time she is quiet(this is no lie I promise) is when she is asleep. I'm listening to her now while she's laying down for her nap, and she's singing "Rudolph". She's a chatter box, and I have to stop myself when I am tempted to tell her to stop talking, and just enjoy it. Even though she's growing up, she still knows and says "I'm my mommy's baby" and she'll even ask me to "hold you like a baby"!
